My Good Friend Gerry,

I cannot thank you enough for all you did to help me get my new Ford Ranger Pick-Up last month.

When I first decided to replace my old Ranger about 18 months ago, I looked in many places; one happened to be Ken Evans Ford. At the time I really wasn?t quite ready to buy one since our family finances were a little stretched out of shape. I don?t recall who I was talking to at the time but did tell him I would be back.

Well Gerry as you know I did come back about 6 weeks ago. Our family finances did in fact improve and I was ready for the new truck.

Your smiling face greeted me as I strode into the showroom. After introducing ourselves to each other and discussing my needs or wants, you showed me what you had in the F150 range. I then went away for a little quiet time to contemplate what my options were. My wife Arlene and I agreed we really didn?t need an F150 so I went to the Ken Evans web site at www.kenevansford.com and found a white Ranger Super Cab that could fill our wants. We haggled around the price for a while and finally settled on one I could agree with. I?ve been driving the truck for about a month now and am very pleased with my purchase. It has already carried 2 half yards of road mulch to our driveway and done 2 runs to the Bings Creek Recycle centre.

What I appreciate about your salesmanship was your warm, friendly approach to your clients. No pushing to get the sale; rather researching to find out what the client needs and  how you can help them get it. I know I harassed you with many questions which you answered easily, oftentimes beyond the scope of my query. Also if you didn?t readily have the answer, you found someone in the building who did. This tells me your brothers and sisters in the business respect you and are willing to assist you.

As you are well aware my son-in-law B.Rigler and his employer T. Dyck both have been in to see you about trucks for themselves. I know you were able to help them find what they were looking for. I get reports from them almost weekly.

 

Once again a huge thank you for getting me back into my truck. You should see all the lookee loos down at HMC Dockyard every morning checking it out. Gerry, if anyone asks for a customer testimonial, feel free to send them to me. I won?t sell for you but I will tell them what I got from you.

Throughout the whole sale we felt comfortable and able to voice our opinions.  Its always a nice touch when a Salesperson remembers the personal details and that is exactly what Glen did.  After driving the truck for a few weeks I still have a big grin on my face when I get behind the wheel and am thrilled to be the proud owner of a 2010 Ford F150 XLT.

"Outstanding customer service"

 I would like to bring to your attention the service that your staff did for me and my wife .We were on our way to our nephew's wedding when the serpentine belt in our F150 began to come apart. We pulled into your establishment and went in to seek help with our vehicle.There was a lady working at the service desk and she listened to our story. I offered to pay extra to get your service dept. to look at the truck as quickly as possible, but the young lady said that you did not operate like that. She said she would do what she could to help us and get us back on the road as soon as possible. Well, she took control of the situation and found the part, got a mechanic ready and took our truck into your shop with incredible speed. I cannot express enough gratitude to your staff for the help and professionalism. It was fantastic to say the least. With their help we were able to make the wedding in Ucluelet on time. If that belt would have broken on our way across the island we would have been stranded for a long time. We know it was because of your staff and the effort they put forth that turned our holiday into a great trip. Thanks again!!!!! Regards.

My father and I had visited some dealerships here where we live but were turned off by most of their sales "tactics". One dealership would not even let us look in the vehicle until we came inside and talked about price. You on the other hand keep all your used vehicles unlocked for easy viewing, and you gave us the keys right away so we could test drive it. When we returned you asked what we thought of the truck, not if we were going to buy it. We made an offer which you accepted and we were very happy. A few days later, Ted called with the good news there was a box liner to pick up for my truck at no extra cost! I came back on Friday of the long weekend and the staff installed it for me right on the spot. I would and will absolutely recommend to anyone buying a vehicle to come and see you first.

Prior to contacting Brian Bardonnex at Ken Evans we has initially talked to a consultant from another dealership closer to where we lived. We had concerns with this dealership because they told us it was their policy not to go ahead and locate any vehicles for customers until they had made a definite decision to buy as well as leaving some type of cash deposit. They pushed hard for us to purchase a vehicle they had in their stock even though it did not have all the attributes we were looking for. We were disappointed and so we decided to phone around to other dealers to see what they had in stock and find out if they had the vehicle with all the features we needed. We called Ken Evans and spoke to their consultant Brian who positively bowled us over with his excellent service. He not only located exactly the vehicle we requested but also offered a choice of colors. He went over and above what was required but at the same time didn't pressure us-the young man was an absolute delight to do business with and we have recommended him to our friends. This is the first new Ford we purchased and although Duncan is a 45 minute drive from where we live, we still would recommend to our friends that it's worth driving further for the service we received. We will also use Ken Evans for all our servicing on the vehicle. If there is a special award for your sales people-this man would certainly deserve it. I've cut this short but he truly was excellent. I'd never heard of Ken Evans prior to our phone call but, knowing what we now know, they would be my first choice for future cars for myself , for my friends and for my family. Best regards.

"A Life Saver"

Mr. and Mrs. Sleeman own a 2009 Ford Focus. Driving one day they were involved in an accident and got hit hard on the rearside of the vehicle. The crash was severe enough to cause the car to spin around a couple of times as well as deploy the airbags. They called the other day and wanted you to know they are so impressed with the safety system and safety restraints in their car and extremely pleased with Ford.

Mrs. Sleeman was told that if  it wasn't for the airbags and safety system of the car working as flawlessly as it did, she could have been seriously injured or worse. She only had slightly bruised ribs. No one ever wants to be in an accident but it is reassuring to know that if the event ever happens, the safety and security of Ford vehicles lets you go about your day in confidence.

"Beyond the Call of Duty"

Having purchased a used (2003) F350 diesel last May, I noticed a small starting problem (ran rough) that did not really materialize into a problem until we drove to Houston, Texas! I was told there that the truck would run and not leave me stranded, so we waited until getting home to get it repaired. I explained the problem to my salesman, Brian Bardonnex, who turned me over to the sales manager, Bernadette, They took me to service where Deanna booked a diagnostic test. Diagnostics found the same problem. I was called and told that the dealer would cover half the cost of the repair. This is almost a year after buying the truck! The repair has cured the problem. I wish to extend a HUGE thank you for this customer service that was above the expected used car experience.

A couple days after taking delivery of my truck I decided to drive it on a  skiing trip and I called Dave too order a bed cover and liner to facilitate the trip.
